Prospecting en Route
''I've found a great way to prospect smarter instead of harder. I always carry a clipboard in my car with a notepad and pen. Every time I drive to work or to an appointment I pick up a huge number of leads just by looking out the window. Here's what I recommend: The next time you're stopped at light, keep your eyes peeled for leads on the sides of delivery trucks, trailer sidewalls, buildings facades, billboards, lawns or construction sites. Take notice of changes in your marketplace - a newly vacant parking lot or a once-empty lot now filled with cars. Get acquainted with the mail carriers, next day delivery people and real estate agents who can keep you in the know as to who's doing what that might be of professional interest to you. You might find yourself spending less time and effort prospecting, but increasing your prospects and profits.''
